From a fellow perfectionist-in-recovery (I still have a long way to go), I just wanted to say right back atcha with the message behind this. I really love how you put it—that your art should reflect your imperfect self. That's a beautiful sentiment. :)

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I appreciate the encouragement :)

I love this! Angel was actually just reading some quotes that Austin Kleon shared, and one of em was about how authors never get past that "I don't know what I'm doing, I should give up" phase. I think it's so sad that we all deal with that, but it's also powerful that all of us who create things push past that and say "screw it, I'm doing it anyway even if it sucks!" It unifies us 🧡

Also, I LOVE that you directly give people permission to create! I really hope this inspires someone to make something 🙌 I'll keep it in mind for when I'm struggling myself!

I'm very glad you liked it! I was honestly quite nervous because I've never properly made a zine before, much less published one... I used to make them as a kid before I even had any idea what a zine was, so they've interested me for years once I learned there was an actual term for it. I'm glad to see that at least one person enjoyed this! It was quite fun to make :)

OMG I love that you made zines before you even knew what zines were, that's frickin epic! And it's so lovely getting in touch with the things we did as kid, it's so... cozy and lovely. Like remembering that magic existed before life got all in the way ✨
