HAVOC: Extraplanar Escapade
A downloadable game
Welcome to H.A.V.O.C.- the Habitat for Anomalous Vagrant Otherworldly Creatures! As the nonprofit's newest hire, you've been assigned an on-site training in the OuterPlane for a hands-on experience with capturing injured anomalies to recieve care back at the facility. Do you think you have what it takes?
Designed for one player, HAVOC: Extraplanar Escapade was created for the Special Interest TTRPG Jam. It is set in a universe that I plan to develop further in the future, mostly via an actual, fully-fledged 2D game made in Unity! Any support is greatly appreciated. Please consider leaving a rating and/or comment if you enjoyed the game!
update 5/14/2025: It has been brought to my attention that the item ultimate orb did not previously have a description. This has been fixed in the file ExtraplanarEscapadeRevised. The only other change made in this file is some spacing adjustments. I'm leaving the initial document for download as well for the sake of not causing too much confusion. Don't feel like you need to download the new version if you don't want to- but I wanted to fix this.

I genuinely enjoy this RPG! Especially because of how hackable it seems! It doesn't appear too hard to make your own anomalies, or locals, especially because of how the eight anomalies are statted in such a way as to be good examples of what makes a good anomaly!
thank you, i'm glad to hear it!! i had a lot of fun making this RPG and i'm glad to hear people are enjoying it!! ^^
Oh! I just remembered something I wanted to ask you! What dose an ultimate orb do exactly? It is an exploration result but it is never explained. However no pressure in answering right away, I think I know what it dose based on the video game series this TTRPG is clearly inspired by, but I thought I'd ask!
oh gosh you're right, i never explicitly stated that- i don't know how i missed it; thank you for catching that!!
the ultimate orb is a guarunteed catch :) and yes, you'd be correct on the inspiration, it's that among several other things ^^
i'm hoping to make a full-blown 2D game in this universe eventually, so it's nice to see that this sort of 'trial run' has been well-recieved :)
